Privacy Notice
Last updated: 24 July 2026
Learning In Transit Pte Ltd ("Learnintt", "we", "us") runs this speaking practice app. We look after your personal data under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012 ("PDPA"). This notice explains, in plain English, what the app collects and what happens to it.
1. What this app does
Your child records a short spoken answer to a practice question. The recording is sent to an AI grading service to give an instant, indicative score and some encouraging feedback. It is a practice tool to help families getting ready for the AEIS. If you like, you can then ask us to arrange a free mock speaking test with a real teacher.
2. The recording of your child's voice — read this first
This is the most important part, so it comes first.
- When your child taps record and speaks, the app captures a short audio recording of that answer.
- The moment the recording is finished, it is sent to Google's AI grading service (Gemini) to be listened to and scored. Google is outside Singapore — see section 5.
- We do not keep the recording. It is used once, to produce the score you see on screen, and then it is gone. We do not store it, we do not build a library of children's voices, and we do not use it to train anything of our own.
- Because the recording is never kept, there is nothing for us to send you, show anyone, put on social media, or advertise with. The question of "using a clip publicly" simply does not arise here — there is no clip to use.
- The score and a line or two of feedback appear on your child's screen. We do not attach a name to them, and we do not save them to your child.
Since your child is a primary or secondary school student, you as the parent or guardian allow this on your child's behalf when you let your child use the app. We tell you plainly, on the screen and here, before any recording is made, so you decide with the full picture.
3. What we collect if you ask for a free mock test
The score screen has a button, "Book a Free Mock Speaking Test". Only if you choose to use it do we collect anything that identifies you:
- your name;
- your mobile number, which is how we reach you to arrange the mock test; and
- the level, topic and score from the practice you just finished, which we carry over automatically so the teacher knows where to begin.
We do not ask for your child's name, your NRIC, your address, or any payment details. The practice app is free, and the mock test offered here is free.
4. No cookies, no tracking
This app sets no cookies. It runs no analytics and no third-party tracking scripts. Nobody is building an advertising profile of you here.
The app does save two small things in your browser, on your own device: your language choice (English or 中文) and a count of how many practices have been done that day, which is only used to suggest a break after a lot of tries. These stay on your device, are not sent to us, and identify nobody.
5. Where your data goes — including outside Singapore
Please read this part carefully, because data leaves Singapore.
The voice recording is sent to:
- our server, which passes it straight on; and
- Google's AI grading service (Gemini), which listens to it and returns a score.
Google processes this on its servers, which may be outside Singapore. The recording is used for grading and is not retained by us after the score is returned.
Your mock-test details (name, mobile, level, topic, score), if you send them, go to:
- the same server, which processes the request;
- Google Sheets (Google Workspace), where the request is recorded so we can follow it up; and
- Elite Edu, our teaching partner in Singapore, who receives your name and mobile number in order to arrange and run your free mock speaking test.
We rely on contractual and technical measures with Google so that your personal data continues to receive a standard of protection comparable to the protection it has under the PDPA, as section 26 of the PDPA requires. Access within Learnintt is limited to the people who need it to run this service.
6. Why we collect the mock-test details
We use the name, mobile number and practice results you send only to:
- have Elite Edu contact you to arrange a time for the free mock speaking test;
- give the teacher the level and topic so the session is pitched right; and
- keep a simple record of the request.
We will contact you about the mock test you asked for. We will not send you marketing messages on the strength of this request. If we ever want to, we will ask you separately first, and check your number against the Do Not Call Registry as the PDPA requires.
7. How long we keep it
- The voice recording — not kept at all, as explained in section 2.
- Your mock-test details — kept for twelve (12) months after you send the request, then deleted. We may keep a record for longer only where the law requires it.
8. Your rights
You may, at any time:
- ask what we hold about you and how we have used it in the past year;
- ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate or out of date; or
- withdraw your consent to us holding or using your details, and ask us to delete them.
Email dpo@learnintt.com and tell us what you would like. We may need to confirm who you are before we act.
Timing: we will respond as soon as reasonably possible. If we cannot deal with an access or correction request within thirty (30) days, we will write to you within those thirty (30) days to tell you when we will.
9. Keeping it safe
Data travels to our server over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Access to mock-test requests is limited to the Learnintt and Elite Edu people who arrange the sessions. No system is perfect, and we do not promise that transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the small amount of data involved.
10. Our Data Protection Officer
We have appointed a Data Protection Officer. You can reach the DPO at:
dpo@learnintt.com Learning In Transit Pte Ltd 882 Woodlands St 82 #10-58, Singapore 730882
If we have not resolved your concern, you may raise it with the Personal Data Protection Commission of Singapore.
11. Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Any change applies from the date it is posted.
Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 July 2026
These terms apply when you use the AEIS speaking practice app at aeis.learnintt.com, run by Learning In Transit Pte Ltd ("Learnintt", "we", "us").
1. What the app is
- A free speaking practice tool. Your child answers a practice question out loud and gets an instant, indicative score and some feedback from an AI grader.
- The practice questions follow the style of Cambridge KET (A2) and PET (B1) speaking tasks, which many families use to prepare for the AEIS. The app is a preparation aid, not a test.
2. The score is a guide, not an assessment
Please read the separate note "About the AI score" below. In short: the score comes from AI listening to one short answer. It is a helpful snapshot, not an official result, and not a prediction of how your child will do in the AEIS or any other examination.
3. Booking a free mock speaking test
- Using the "Book a Free Mock Speaking Test" button is a request, not a confirmed booking.
- We pass your name and mobile number to our teaching partner, Elite Edu, who will contact you to arrange a time.
- The mock test offered through this app is free. There is nothing to pay on this page.
4. Fair use
Please use the app for your own family's practice. Do not try to overload, copy, scrape, or interfere with it, and do not use it to upload anything other than your child's own spoken answer to the question shown.
5. No guarantee of results
Nothing in the app or on this page is a promise of any particular AEIS outcome, grade or score. See "About the AI score" below.
6. Our responsibility
We provide the app with reasonable care and skill, but it is offered "as it is". To the extent the law allows, we are not responsible for any loss arising from reliance on the AI score. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Singapore law that cannot be limited by agreement.
7. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

About the AI score
The score in this app comes from AI listening to one short spoken answer. It is designed to be encouraging and useful, and to give you a rough sense of where your child is. It is not an official assessment.
- It is based on a single, short answer — not a full test, and not a certified teacher's judgement.
- We do not guarantee any particular grade, score, band or result, in the AEIS or in any Cambridge examination, and nothing here should be read as a promise of one.
- A real teacher gives the full picture. That is exactly what the free mock speaking test is for.
Learnintt and Elite Edu are independent educators. This app is not affiliated with, appointed by, or endorsed by the Ministry of Education, the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (which administers the AEIS), or Cambridge University Press & Assessment (which owns the KET and PET examinations). We refer to those examinations only to describe the kind of speaking practice the app offers.
Copyright and ownership

You are welcome to use the app for your own child's personal practice at home.
